Silver alloys without cadmium

Silver alloys for brazing are widely used for soldering ferrous and non-ferrous metals, such as iron, steel, inox, copper, brass, etc. They have high smoothness, capillarity and corrosion resistance under normal utilization conditions. If they are used in presence of oxygen it must be used the right flux. In order to avoid corrosion phenomena in stainless steels brazing that are subjected in humid environments or in contact with ammonia, it is recommended to use alloys without Zinc.

Silver alloys are available in several formats: rods and flux coated rods, wires, foils, rings, preformed, powders and pastes.

SILVER ALLOY WITH TIN

Good flow and average capillarity, moderate mechanical properties particularly in elongation.
The addition of tin improves its fluidity and reduces the temperature of use, besides being able to obtain a clear junction.
